2. Use of This Website

You may use this Site for personal, non-commercial purposes. When using this Site, you agree not to:

• Copy, reproduce, or distribute our content without our written permission.
• Use the Site in any way that could damage, disable, overload, or interfere with it.
• Try to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Site, its systems, or its networks.

3. Intellectual Property

All content on this Site — including text, frameworks, graphics, logos, and the NOWHUMAN brand — belongs to Avaco Solutions Canada Incorporated, unless we say otherwise. You may not use, copy, reproduce, or share this content without our written permission.

4. Coaching Is Not Therapy, Medical, Legal, or Financial Advice

NOWHUMAN provides leadership and executive presence coaching for engineers and technical professionals. Our coaching is not a substitute for therapy, counselling, or medical, legal, or financial advice. If you need support in any of these areas, please speak with a qualified professional.

Coaching is a collaborative process built on reflection and self-discovery. Any decisions or actions you take — during or after coaching — are your own choice and your own responsibility. NOWHUMAN does not guarantee any specific outcome, result, or change from coaching.

5. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Avaco Solutions Canada Incorporated, its owner, and NOWHUMAN are not responsible or liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential loss or damage arising from:

• Your use of, or inability to use, this website.
• Your participation in any coaching session, program, or event.
• Any decisions or actions you take based on discussions, advice, frameworks, or materials shared during coaching.

6. Booking, Cancellation, and Refund Policy

• Discovery Calls: Free of charge, with no cancellation policy.
• Paid Strategy Calls and Individual Sessions: Require at least 48 hours’ notice to reschedule.
• Late Cancellations or No-Shows: If you cancel or do not attend with less than 48 hours’ notice, the session is forfeited. No refund or make-up session will be provided.
• Multi-Month Programs: The Self-Aware Leader and CCC Program (3, 6, or 9 months) are governed by a separate, signed Coaching Agreement provided to clients before the program begins. Where there is any conflict, that Coaching Agreement takes priority over this section.

7. Booking Through cal.com

Sessions are booked using cal.com, a third-party scheduling tool. By booking a session, you also agree to cal.com’s own terms of service. NOWHUMAN is not responsible for the availability, performance, or security of cal.com.

8. Newsletter — The Human Element

If you sign up for our newsletter, The Human Element, you do so directly through Substack, a third-party platform. Your subscription, and any emails you receive, are governed by Substack’s own terms of service and privacy policy, in addition to this document.

9. Links to Other Websites

Our Site may contain links to other websites, including cal.com and Substack. We do not control, and are not responsible for, the content, policies, or practices of these third-party sites.

10. Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario, and the federal laws of Canada that apply in Ontario, regardless of where you access the Site from.

11. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms and Conditions from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top of this page shows when changes were made. If you continue using the Site after changes are posted, this means you accept the updated terms.
