We collect only the information you choose to give us, plus basic site visit data. This includes:

• Contact form: your name, email address, and phone number.
• Newsletter sign-up: your email address, but only if you check the opt-in box.
• Booking a session: your name, email address, and phone number, collected through cal.com.
• Website usage data: collected automatically by Squarespace, such as pages viewed and time on site.

2. How We Collect Your Information

• Directly from you, when you fill out our contact form or book a session.
• Automatically, through cookies and analytics built into our Squarespace website.
• Through third-party services you choose to use, such as cal.com (booking) or Substack (newsletter).

3. Why We Collect Your Information

We use your information to:

• Respond to your questions or requests.
• Book and manage coaching sessions.
• Send you our newsletter, The Human Element — only if you opt in.
• Understand how visitors use our website, so we can improve it.

4. Cookies and Analytics

Our website runs on Squarespace. Squarespace uses cookies to collect data about how visitors use our site, such as which pages they view and how long they stay. When you visit nowhuman.ca, you will see a cookie banner. You can accept or decline non-essential cookies there.

We do not use Google Analytics, Meta Pixel, or any other third-party tracking tools.

5. Third-Party Services We Use

We use a small number of trusted third-party services. Each one has its own privacy policy, and each is responsible for the information it collects:

• cal.com (booking): Collects your name, email, and phone number to schedule sessions. Visit cal.com for their privacy policy.
• Substack (newsletter): If you sign up for The Human Element, you do this directly on Substack’s site. Substack collects and manages that information under its own privacy policy.
• Squarespace (hosting and analytics): Powers our website and collects basic visit data as described in Section 4.

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to anyone, ever.

6. Who Can See Your Information

Only Ajay Chikermane, on behalf of NOWHUMAN, has access to the personal information you share with us. We do not have any staff, contractors, or connected software (like a CRM) that can see your information. Your information is only ever shared with the third-party services listed in Section 5, and only as needed to provide that service (for example, cal.com needs your email to send you a booking confirmation).

7. How We Protect Your Information

We take reasonable steps to protect your personal information from loss, theft, or misuse. That said, no method of storing or sending information online is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

8. How Long We Keep Your Information

We keep your personal information only for as long as we need it for the reasons it was collected, or as long as the law requires.

9. Your Rights

Under Canadian privacy law, you have the right to:

• Know what personal information we hold about you.
• Ask us to correct information that is wrong or out of date.
• Withdraw your consent for us to use your information, at any time.
• Ask us to delete your information, where this is reasonably possible.

10. Visitors Outside Canada

NOWHUMAN works with clients around the world. By using our website or services, you understand that your information may be processed in Canada, or by third-party services (such as cal.com or Substack) that may be located in other countries.

11. Children’s Privacy

Our website and services are intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

12. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top of this page shows when it was last changed. We encourage you to check back occasionally.
